Designed by Westfield’s own in-house studio in collaboration with L.A. based Designer Kelly Wearstler – the new Westfield mall will encompass acres of open space and welcoming courtyards, with design and décor inspired by Southern California’s outdoor lifestyle and a thoughtful approach to luxury living.
Rising 40 stories high, Ten Thousand was designed by Handel Architects to capture LA’s classic and contemporary aesthetic. Inspired by the work of 20th century modernists, the two and three bedroom residences feature dramatic floor to ceiling windows that showcase spectacular views of the Hollywood Hills to Downtown Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean.
It is projected that city will welcome nearly 1.5 million new residents by 2050 – meaning the total population will swell to over 12 million. How will Los Angeles – a city infamous for palm trees, celebrities, and suburban sprawl – address the growing population needs of tomorrow?
There is a new club in town! The Arts Club – by Gwyneth Paltrow! It will be located on the corner of San Vicente and Sunset Blvd (Where Hustler’s Club once was). Dues will be $2,000 to sign up, and $2,000 a year. The new building will be 132,000 square feet, first four floors will be creative working space while the remaining upper floors devoted to the club.
In the heart of the iconic Sunset Strip, the hotel will be Two, 10-Story Towers, 286 Rooms, 2 Restaurants, bars in the lobby and roof, 10,000 Square Feet of space for meetings. 2 More towers (8-stories)on the East side of the intersection with 190 residential units will also have 40,000 Square Feet of Retail Space- with amazing views of the Los Angeles area.
