Hello and welcome to the real estate minute. I’m your host Ivan Estrada with Ivan Estrada Properties at Douglas Elliman. And in this episode, we’re going over three luxury developments that are not only changing the landscape of Los Angeles, but also our perception with those beautiful views. Starting with the Edition in West Hollywood, then the Century Plaza in Century City and lastly the Four Seasons Residences in Beverly Hills. Well the real estate minute is going to work like this: there are three segments, one minute each, three minutes total. Let the real estate minute begin.
Located where West Hollywood meets Beverly Hills, the West Hollywood Edition is creating a one-of-a-kind experience not only for its hotel guests but also its residents. Now the special part about The Edition isn’t the hotel. It’s its residences, there’s a total of 20 of them. You drive up to your own private entrance with beautiful materials and finishes at all throughout. Now, all these units are completely unique and customizable starting in the low five million dollar price points. Some of my favorite aspects about the units are the glass doors that literally just disappear into the wall. You get those views. So you really get that indoor/outdoor feel and the master bedroom tub. That tub is 1200 pounds and made of concrete. It’s more of an art piece than an actual tub. Throughout The Edition there’s also amazing art that was curated by creative art partners and they could also do that for your units. You can either buy the art or you can rent it seasonally.
The Century Plaza hotel opened its doors on June 1st 1966 and was built over the 20th century backlot. Now it was known as the beautiful hotel and it was for 1966 and it was also very technologically savvy with being one of the first hotels to host color TVs. Now this baby’s getting a huge renovation: 2.5 billion dollars to be exact over six acres. In the back of the Fairmont Hotel it’s going to have two 44 story towers. They’re each going to have condominiums starting at one bedroom, two bedrooms, and three bedrooms starting in the upper 1-million-dollar price points. Now, let’s talk about these views. You’re going to have views from the Hollywood Hills to the city and of course the ocean depending on what unit that you purchase. And the good thing about these towers that there’s going to be no columns. So it’s going to be completely open so you can really bring that outdoor in. There’s also going to be a total of a hundred thousand square feet for shopping, dining, and entertainment.
We all know the Four Seasons name for its beautiful hotels all around the world and of course that world-renowned service. Now Beverly Hills is getting a big gift in spring 2020 and that’s the Four Seasons Residences. The Four Seasons will be a total of 12 floors and 59 fully customizable units. And I mean fully customizable. You’ll get to pick your flooring, the kitchens that you want. It’s going to have beautiful customizable lighting and of course the views. You get to choose your view and of course you have those beautiful balconies where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and enjoy either an ocean view or city view. Some of the amenities that you’ll enjoy here at the Four Seasons will be the IMAX theater, the amazing gym, the gardens, and of course that beautiful rooftop pool. Now if you have the money to spend you’re definitely going to want to buy the penthouse. It’s a total of 13,000 square feet with 360 degree views of the entire city.
