November 2018 | Real Estate Minute | Ivan Estrada Properties

Hello and welcome to the real estate minute. I’m your host Ivan Estrada with Ivan Estrada properties at Douglas Elliman. And in this episode, we’re discussing the top three listings and sales of celebrity homes in Southern California. So, the real estate minute is going to work like this. There are three segments, one minute each, three minutes total. Let the real estate minute begin.

Adam Levine sold his house to John Mayer this year located on Benedict Canyon in Beverly Hills. It’s a five-bedroom seven-bathroom home with over 7100 square feet. The home features one of the most dramatic living rooms in all of Los Angeles, has a great media room, library and also a two-story garage for all of your favorite cars. The estate is completely secluded as a one-story modern and was rebuilt in every detail with architectural perfection and timeless style. One of my favorite features of the house are the walls of glass that overlook the panoramic canyon views, swimming pool and beautiful grounds. Adam bought the house back in 2012 for 4.8 million dollars and sold it to John for 13.4 million.

The former home of Elizabeth Taylor is on the market. Located in Beverly Estates in Beverly Hills the home features six bedrooms, seven bathrooms and seventy-seven hundred square feet. George McLean the architect actually had Taylor in mind when designing the lavishly appointed estate. One of my favorite features of the home are the walls of glass with all the access points to the courtyard and the garden. The grounds are dotted with vegetation, sculptures and fountains along with a swimming pool and spa. The pool deck offers impressive views of the surrounding hills and also the city below. Elizabeth Taylor moved into the Beverly Crest home shortly after its construction in the early 1950s. The home was originally listed at 15.8 million and has been reduced to 14.2.

One of my favorite actresses from Grace and Frankie, Jane Fonda has just sold her home in Trousdale Estates in Beverly Hills and it’s a four-bedroom, seven and a half bathrooms with over 7100 square feet. The home is airy with an open plan living space including a bi-level combination living and dining room. Some of my favorite features of the home is the glass elevator as well as eco-friendly materials such as bamboo flooring, solar panels and the double-glazed windows. There’s also a small office with built-in bookshelves, a gym that opens up to the pool and also a vast entertainment space that includes a recording studio, a media area and a walk-in wet bar. The house also features a heated swimming pool and built-in fire pits strategically placed to take advantage of the cross canyon and city light views. The house was originally listed at twelve point nine million dollars and closed escrow at 8.5 million.
